Mask India Lyrics Contest

This year, life has taken a turn to reveal a new normal – a life where we have been asked to step up and take care of ourselves, our environment and our communities. And the quintessential part of this new normal is the face mask – a mask that protects us from contracting the COVID-19 virus as well as protects our community.

SMA SAMAAJ, an initiative of the Shankar Mahadevan Academy Trust, is partnering with Let's Mask India – a non-profit dedicated to the manufacture and distribution of good quality masks to people in need, to raise awareness about the importance of wearing a mask to avoid the spread of COVID-19.

Inspire people to join this cause and have a song and video produced by Shankar Mahadevan Academy for the lyrics penned by you. The song will be sung by the students and teachers of Shankar Mahadevan Academy and will feature Shankar Mahadevan himself. The song will be made available to one and all through social media.

What's more, you get a chance to meet the maestro Shankar Mahadevan online!

Include the chorus "Let's Mask India" as the chorus of the song.

Send us your lyrics before the 15th of July to take part in this competition.
