The student must have an interest towards learning music.
Immerse yourself this summer into learning the fundamentals of Carnatic classical music and get introduced to different compositional forms. The course is exclusively designed to introduce students to basics in a fun and engaging manner.
The students will explore learning essential concepts such as the basic building blocks of music - the sapta swaras or the 7 swaras and different exercises using the swaras. Along with this, the student will learn a shloka, a simple bhajan, a nottu swaram and a patriotic song, exposing the students to different ragas and talas.
